The El Teide Volcano

 

 

The El Teide volcano and its surroundings are within the National Park of the same name in the Canary Islands. The El Teide Volcano has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

This site is the most visited in the world because it is one of the best places to watch the stars and the night sky. Here, it is recommended to head to observatories which facilitates sky watching.

El Teide is the third highest volcano in the world. The volcano has not erupted since 1909.
