In Wyominng, United States, there is the Devil’s Tower, a volcanic neck formed 65 million years ago. This volcano was popularized in films like Encounters of the Third Kind. This is another place of a majesty so incomprehensible, that the first natives of the area laid hands on another magical explanation to understand its emergence. 

It was said that seven young Indian women were stalked by a large bear in the woods. They exhausted all possible hiding places and themselves perched on a rock and began to pray to the Great Spirit of salvation. It was his work that the rock began to grow becoming increasingly high. The bear saw his banquet, and was frustrated. He rushed with his claws against the sides of the now huge rock, leaving deep scars that can be seen today.

Its height is 386 meters above the surrounding terrain and its summit is at 1,558 meters above the sea level. This incredible training is visited by many adventurers who try each year to ascend the attractive summit.
