The Cocos Island

Right in the Pacific Ocean, the Cocos Island belongs to Costa Rica, and throughout its territory, it is a national park inhabited by man.

A boat trip from Costa Rica could take about 36 hours, one way to measure its isolation. Thanks to the climate and geography, the island is a haven capable of representing landscapes of  Nublar Island fiction, such as the the novel, Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.
