Thai Airways is the leading airline in Thailand, and one of the strongest airlines in Asia. Thai Airways is based in Bangkok, and flies to 45 international destinations, mainly to the cities of Europe, North Africa, USA,  Asia and Oceania.

Thai Airways International won the ‘Airline of the Year to the Far East’ in the 2011  Travel Agents Choice Awards in the latest World Travel Market expo in London. The award was handed over to the airline at its stand at the WTM.

“We are very fortunate to win this award for the second consecutive year. We are always working on the renovation of our services. We are currently in the process of the modernization of our seats, to increase customer satisfaction and improve the competitiveness of Thai,” said Krittaphon Chantalitanon, vice president of Products and Services.

For the first time in four years, Thai has assumed a more visible presence at the show by having a stand at what is considered one of the leading travel exhibitions.

The Asian airline had the opportunity to bond with some 5,000 exhibitors from 189 countries and regions at the ExCel Centre in London.
