Eureka Valley, just south of Market Street and west of Castro, indicates a small neighborhood of San Francisco that is able to give some surprises to its visitors. These surprises include a spectacular view of the Kite Hill, where you can enjoy the city from the top.
The public park is maintained by the residents, who have made it popular among tourists who curious to learn more about the habits of those who live in this beautiful city.
Also in this park, you can find the free slide whuch was built after a competition among the residents. The competition was won by a fourteen year old. The slide is much loved by children and adults. But beware though, because it is a very fast ramp constructed of concrete, and therefore not suitable for children. This is not recommended, unless you are properly dressed.
