Some call it the most “strange waterfall in the world”. However, this waterfall is found in the Valley of Mitla in Mexico is spectacular. It is a stony slope that remains still in the midst of lush green surrounding it.
Most locals refer to this frozen waterfall as “Boil Water”. It consists of sodium carbonate and magnesium sulfur that have left this spring training forever. The spring stops its march at the edge of the hill. Another plus of this incredible place is that you can also enjoy the natural pools at the top of the mountain, from which emanates the spring.
